AREOLA ENHANCEMENT
This advanced paramedical tattooing service restores the natural appearance of the areola and nipple area after surgery, trauma, or medical conditions. Whether you're healing from a mastectomy, top surgery, or want to improve shape, symmetry, or color, we customize each treatment to your skin tone and goals with care and precision.
Proper preparation and aftercare are essential to achieving soft, natural-looking areola results. Please review the following guidelines to ensure you are fully ready for your appointment and give your skin the best chance to heal beautifully.
-
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and chemical peels on or near the chest area for at least 2 weeks prior.
Do not apply retinols, exfoliants, or active skincare products on the chest for 5–7 days before treatment.
Stay hydrated and moisturize the skin around the area regularly unless instructed otherwise.
Inform your artist of any recent surgeries, radiation, scarring, or medications that may affect your healing.
The skin must be fully healed from surgery before tattooing—no open wounds, irritation, or sensitivity should be present.
-
Keep the area clean, dry, and protected for the first 24 hours.
After 24 hours, cleanse gently with a mild, fragrance-free soap. Pat dry and apply the provided aftercare balm as directed.
Avoid friction, tight clothing, or bras that may rub the area during healing.
Refrain from sweating, swimming, soaking, and sun exposure for at least 10 days.
Do not pick or scratch any flaking or scabbing as this may affect pigment retention.
Avoid active skincare or exfoliants on the area until fully healed.
-
Initial healing usually takes 7–14 days, with full pigment settling and skin regeneration occurring over 4–6 weeks.
A second session may be required to refine color, shape, or symmetry.
Results vary based on skin type, surgical history, scar tissue, and personal healing response.
